Jamie Quinn captures the reader's attention from the start as she recounts why, at least at first, she felt drawn to the case. I don't really enjoy "cozy" mysteries that much because they are often very short and focus more on the investigator's life drama than on the poor guy (and story line) who has been murdered. When I first read the summary for Barbara Venkataraman's cozy mystery novel, Murder by Digeridoo, I wasn't expecting anything grand.
